She is survived by her children James Davis, Janet Davis, Jacqueline Davis, Jennifer Davis, and Sandie Davis, 20 loving grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren: 2 sisters and 3 Brothers, Emma, Lacey, Bradley, Joseph, Ricky and a Host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Doris Hughes, Bradley Hardy, Mr. and Mrs. Price she was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher, and sister Anna. Mrs. Davis passed away after a great fight on Monday December 23, 2024, at 9:12 pm surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of home.
Bettie Jean Davis was born December 7, 1955, the daughter of Bradley Hardy and Doris Hughes and raised by Mr. and Mrs. Price. Mrs. Davis believed in Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior. Her parents were very active in the church.
Bettie loved to help others even to the end. Bettie had a green thumb and could grow anything. She also had a lucky hand and won a lot of things. She grew to be independent after many events in her life, she was very handy and could fix many things from windows to cars. She walked many miles even when she did not have to and touched all walks of life through the various jobs and other places she had been over the years. She gave what she had even though she endured hardships in life growing up.
The family of the late Mrs. Bettie Davis wishes to express our sincere appreciation for all the prayers, phone calls, visits and many other acts of kindness shown during the time of her lengthy illness and finally death.
