It is with great sadness that the family of Nancy Sue Jordan (nee Bryant) announces that she passed away peacefully on Mother’s Day, May 11th 2025 at 88 years of age.
Nancy enjoyed life and shared her love, wisdom, friendship, talent and myriad witticism’s with her extended family and many dear friends her entire life.
She is survived by her children: Richard Wayne Denton of Riverside, CA, Du’Weena Jordan of Indianapolis, IN and Kevin Burns Jordan of Chino Hills, CA; her brother, Robert Lomax Bryant; and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins galore.
Ever the planner, Nancy left the following note which was discovered after her passing, to be shared with one and all:
“Remember Me”
Don’t remember me with sadness – Don’t remember me with tears – Remember me with laughter we’ve shared throughout the years
Now I am contented that my life it was worthwhile – Knowing that I passed along the way I made somebody smile
When you are walking down the street and you got me on your mind- I’m walking in your footsteps only half a step behind
So please don’t be unhappy just because I’m out of sight – Remember that I’m with you each morning, noon and night
And remember that I love you ALL lots and lots
Nannie
Per Nancy’s desire there will be no viewing or funeral, and she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please donate to either the American Lung Association or American Heart Association. Lastly, we her children, wish to say ‘thank you’ to all who loved our mother as much as we did and for enriching her life as much as she may have enriched yours. Thank you.
Arrangements entrusted to Simple Cremation Indianapolis, 6904 S. East Street, Suite E, Indianapolis, IN., (317)361-4516.

We loved nancy always. Wherever she was there was laughter and so much fun to be around. I’m sorry for your loss and ours as well I’m also sorry we never got to know the rest of her family because if you are anything like nancy I’m sure you were a joy to be around.
Thank you Sara for your posting and for your card. She often spoke about her Aunts, Uncles and cousins and I was always amazed how much she remembered about everyone.
