James D Gregory “Pickle” 62 of Indianapolis died on May 19, 2025 at Community South Hospital after his battle with Cancer.

James was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He spent most of his time with construction work. In his spare time he spent time with his nephew, brother, son and grandchildren.

James is survived by his only son Michael and Tabitha Coffman, Grandchildren Michael Coffman Jr, Mason Coffman, McKinley Coffman and Mavery Coffman. Brother Lenord Gregory, Rebecca Gregory and Janice Gregory. Nephew was was like a brother Steve Desmond.

He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd Gregory and Bonnie Crowder Gregory. Sister Helen Gregory and Brother Johnny Gregory.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
