Samantha Fraser

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished Samantha Fraser on October 13, 2025. Deeply mourned by her surviving family members; son, Jacob; mother, Sylvia; father, John; step-father, Steve; and brothers, Christian and Joshua. Samantha was a lifelong member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church where she served on the altar guild, handbells, and choir. She also sang in the girls’ choir of Christ Church Cathedral for several years traveling across England sharing love of song.

Samantha spent much of her life in continuing education. Having graduate from Cathedral High School and completing a degree in Children’s Literature at Indiana University. She was an avid reader of science fiction and mystery novels. She loved to spend her time sewing, cross-stitching, and knitting as well as solving crossword puzzles. She also loved cats.

She brought joy to everyone she met.

Donations to St. Matthews Episcopal Church and Cat Haven Ltd., in the name of Samantha Fraser, are welcome.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 25th followed by a reception.

She is survived by her family: Jacob William Fraser, Sylvia Robles, John Fraser, Steve Robles, Christian Robles, and Joshua Streiff-Fraser.
