Marilyn J. Ross

Marilyn J. (Meyers) Ross, born on January 21, 1949, in Beech Grove, IN, passed away on November 27, 2025, in Indianapolis, IN surrounded by her loving family.

Marilyn was a dedicated hard worker who retired from AT&T after 35 years of service. Her proudest accomplishment was raising her two children.  She was truly a wonderful mother and later became the best Mimi.  She loved a good adventure and a great meal.  Spending time with her children, grandkids, cousins and friends always ranked number one.

She is survived by her daughter Elaine (Cory) Ammerman, Son Eric (Crystal) Ross; grandchildren Will, Maggie and Sam Ammerman and Payten and Abi Ross; her siblings Jim (Linda) Meyers, Janet Meyers, Roseanne Bowman, Jeff Meyers and Ronda Meyers and a proud aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents James Meyers and Mary Frances (Morone) Meyers and two beloved brothers, Rick Meyers and John Meyers.

A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date.

Simple Cremation Indianapolis is entrusted with care.

  1. Sending condolences to the family of Marilyn Ross. Marilyn.Prayers going to family during this diff time. Marilyn was one of my closest friends.I miss her already.

  2. I am so sad to hear of Marilyn’s passing. She was always full of laughter. She had such a positive outlook on life. I most fondly remember when my son was born. Marilyn did not live far from us, do was other house frequently getting advice on caring for a baby. She was such an awesome mentor. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are for all of the family. May you receive the strength and peace during this time from our Lord,Jesus Christ.

  3. I am so sorry and shocked to hear this news. I worked with Marilyn and went on a cruise with her. We had kids about the same age.
    My sincere sympathy goes to her family. She will be greatly missed!
