Melvin Wayne McKnight

Wayne McKnight, 76, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on 12/1/2025. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, and always had his camera ready for pictures. He was a proud veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Lee McKnight; daughters, Krisinda McKnight, Brandi Booher (Billy), Angela Rose McKnight; son, Noah McKnight; stepsons, Howard Sanders, Daniel Rutledge; stepdaughter, Jennifer Limbert; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters; and many other family and friends. He was preceded by his parents, Robert and Bobby Jean McKnight; brother, Michael Terry McKnight; and granddaughter, Darien Westerfield.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date for family.

  1. I’m heart broken, we were so close in our youth. It blessed my heart to get to spend the last two summers with him. I’ll see you again bro an so thankful to witness you give your heart to Jesus.
