“Tina M (Combs) Taylor, age 65, originally of Catlin, IL passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday Dec 18th, 2025.
Tina was a lover of music, animals, and adventure. To know her was to know she yearned for a life on the road in her RV, which she found later in life. Tina spent the last few years of her life traveling the south and southwest in her RV with her two dogs Titus and Gator.
Once traveling became too challenging, Tina moved to Indianapolis, where she blessed her son (Brandon) with the gift of her last two years on Earth.
Tina was a generous soul and looked for ways to brighten the lives of others. She had a smile that could illuminate the room and that smile was never more prevalent than when listening to some of her favorite music, especially Leonard Cohen or John Lennon.
While Tina is missed immensely by all who knew and loved her, she surrounds us still, each and every day. She is with us in the rays of sunshine coming through the window, the hummingbird that pauses to look at us as it flies by, she is with us when we love our pets, and she is with us in every act of kindness we perform.
Her last prayer with her Chaplain the day before she passed, was for peace, love, and unity for all. She would want each and every one of us that she knew and loved to endeavor to honor that prayer; be a bright spot in someone else’s day and look for her in the small pleasures of life, she’ll be there.”
Tina opted to have no formal service but to have her ashes spread by the ocean on a warm sunny day. Please memorialize her with a random act of kindness, bringing a smile to the face of someone else in honor of her.
