Martha (Jo) Jones

Martha (Jo) was born on July 26, 1941, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Raymond and Marceline Kleppe. 

A 1959 graduate of Southport High School. She worked as a keypunch operator for RCA for couple of years. Then she was a cashier in various places throughout her life. Martha was an avid horseback rider and served as a 4-H leader for Marion County for several years during the 1980s. She never met a stranger. She always enjoyed talking to everyone. She dearly loved her cats, dogs, and horses. Animals always had a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Jones; her son, Steven Partlow; and her parents, Raymond and Marceline Kleppe.

She is survived by her daughter, Shari Grider; her son, Kerry ( KC) Jones; her sister, Jane Heavner; and her grandsons, Darrin Jones and Thomas Partlow.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. 

Donations may be made to the Morgan County Humane Society.
