Anderson, IN- Wayne Edward, 67 entered peace and rest on Wednesday May 13th, 2026 from Riverwalk Village in Noblesville following an extended Illness. He was born on August 24th, 1959, in Noblesville, Indiana to Edward and Mary Jane (Lanning) Strong. He worked for Poor Jack Amusements from Cambridge City, Indiana and Bradd and Nikki Burton from Kennard, Indiana. Wayne leaves behind three sisters, all of Indiana: Janie (Rodney) Bertsch of Connersville, Irene (Joe) Rogers of Muncie and Phyllis Peavler of Elwood. Also surviving are Nieces & Nephews: Peggy Sipes, Keri Horst, Jason Rogers, Blythe Musteric, Michele Peavler, Stephanie McCune, Charlie Peavler. And, several Great Nieces and Great Nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother-in-law Carl Eddie Horst, Nephew Edward D Horst, Great-Great Niece Tinsleigh Faye Holloway. A Celebration of life will be at a later date.

I was one of wayne’s care takers while he was at riverwalk village, I loved Wayne dearly as if he were my own grandpa, and no day is the same there without him calling me for ice cream like he always did. His memory will be cherished in my heart for as long as I live, and it was a blessing to have met him.
