Summary
Betty Jo (Dunn) Keneipp, 93, passed away at St. Vincent’s Carmel Hospital on December 8, 2023. Born December 9, 1929, in Vincennes, Indiana. She was the daughter of William Dunn and Ida (Hayes) Dunn. She is survived by her son, Steven Keneipp, her daughters, Chery “Gilda” (Keneipp) Osborne and John Jameson (significant other), and Jana (Keneipp) Irish, and son in law, Steve Irish.
3 grandchildren Patrick (Melissa) Irish, Jessica (Brandon) Irish Barrientos, and Rachel (Hudson) Osborne Avant .
Plus 5 great grandchildren Lilly, Noah, Caleb Avant and Henry and Josephine Irish. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Wilbur, her parents, her sister Doralea Miller, her brothers Jack, William, Robert, Don, and George Dunn.
Betty was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an amazing homemaker but also was an A&W franchise co-owner with her sister. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and traveling. She loved to travel to Captiva Island, Puerto Rico, and New York City.
She also loved animals.
There will be a private burial in Vincennes.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 20 at Blossom Hill at 1:30p.m. in Vincennes.

We are so very sorry to hear about the passing of Betty. We knew her as a lovely and kind lady and a wonderful grandmother and know that she and Wilbur are smiling down on their family.
By chance I picked up a Vincennes newspaper this week and your mom’s memorial service was listed. So sorry to read of her passing. My thoughts are with your family. R.I.P. Mrs. Keneipp.
