Summary
Russell, Cari Ann, (White), age 56, passed away December 14, 2023, after a 17 year battle with Multiple Myeloma cancer.
Cari was a gifted artist. She created beautiful representational oil-painted landscapes and works of art. She used jewelry design skills to handcraft lovely gifts for family and friends. The gifts she gave were even wrapped with the utmost care. Her ability to perfect her craft, and her acute attention to detail were awe-inspiring.
She had a quick-witted, keen sense of humor that could always fill the room with laughter. She had such a contagious laugh, that listeners could not help but to join her amusement. Even after years of monthly and weekly doctor visits and hospital stays, Cari was still cracking jokes with nurses and doctors, right up until she made the choice to live out her remaining days in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loved ones.
Her authenticity, honesty, and trustworthiness were an inspiration to everyone that knew her. She was the best listener, because she could hear from a place of deep empathy and understanding. She pushed through unimaginable pain to be present for the people she cared about.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Andrew Russell; mother, Brenda Gaines; father, Robert White; sister, Diana Rainville; sisters-in-law, Diane Wishart and Linda Wheeler; brother-in-law, Alex Russell; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
