Summary
Suzetta “Suzie” Lynn Clark (57), a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, went home to live with Jesus on June 22nd, 2024. She left this world from the Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Suzie was born on June 20th, 1967 in Anderson, Indiana. Suzie and former husband, David Lewis, had two daughters together (Ashley and Taylor Lewis) who were both adored. Suzie was also grandmother to three amazing little girls: Evelynn Caillavet, Charlotte Caillavet, and Noella Harris. Other survivors include mother Leyte Clark, and sisters Heather Davies and Kimberly Bland. In addition, Suzie played the role of mommy to her pet Chihuahua, Chotzy, whom she loved dearly.
Anyone who knew Suzie knew how much she lit up a room when she walked in. Suzie was a bright, warm ray of sunshine, and anyone who had the opportunity to get to know her will agree she is not a person to be forgotten. To many, Suzie was a friend; but to even more, Suzie was a person who came to them in a time of need and made them feel loved and special. Suzie was one of the kindest people you could meet and a person who gave her heart to those that crossed her path. Her interests were as vibrant as her personality. Suzie was passionate about being “Mimi” to her grandbabies, loved playing the piano, and taking pictures of the wildlife and the beautiful outdoors. Suzie was a Christian, and always turned to God as her inner fortress to get through difficult times. She loved dolphins, Tinkerbell, Mountain Dew slushies from her “GetGo Gas Station” friends, listening to Gospel music, and shopping with her mother at thrift shops and other local venues. She loved music, and some of her daughter’s fondest memories of her include listening to favorite songs like “Old Time Rock and Roll” by Bob Seger and “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” by the Charlie Daniels Band. Suzie also loved various tracks by Shania Twain and Savage Garden.
Suzie’s passing leaves an empty void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Her laughs, her love of life, and her ability to make everyone feel cherished will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
Her daughters, Ashley & Taylor, would like to send a special thanks to the nurses and providers who took care of their mother at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital. They showed tremendous love and kindness during her last month of life while under their care. Her family and friends will be forever grateful for their service. Special thanks to Dr. Mona Raed and Jennifer Jones with Community Palliative Care Services, and to mom’s “favorite” nurses Josh, Cassidy, Olivia, and Wendell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held for her friends and family in Mississippi in July. More details of the Celebration will be posted on Facebook as they become finalized.

I have many great memories with Susie. She was definitely a bright star. One of my greatest joys with her was singing on the worship team at Wheatland AOG. She had a beautiful voice. She will be greatly missed
