Patricia (Trish) Ann Krick Hostetter, age 79, resident of Poland IN fell
asleep in death on July 30, 2026 at home with family.
Born in Lafayette IN March 08,1947 to Henry V and Minnie (Shroeder )
Krick. Patricia graduated from from Lafayette Central Catholic High School
in 1965 and pursued her love of numbers and received her degree in
accounting from Indiana State University in 1969,
There on a blind date she met the love of her life that began 56 years
of marital bliss. This led to a wonderful family of 3 children they
are so proud of.
Trish enjoyed a career in accounting working for NAD Crane , Indiana
University, and IBM and also other business bookkeeping jobs that kept her
active and involved.
A lover of crafts she enjoyed knitting, especially for gifts, crocheting, sewing,
bead work and other hands-on activities. Her love of playing cards from her
youth carried on through her adulthood as one of her favorite pastimes.
Going on cruises was one of the many things that Trish and Bob were able to
especially enjoy together. The adventures , seeing, and participating in the
different cultures. She was always ready and loved a good karaoke party.
Trish always set time aside after supper for a little ‘Wheel of Fortune
‘competition with her hubby.
Being “Grammy” to her two grandsons was very important to Trish.
She was always interested in all their activities and enjoyed so much their
stories about them.
Trish was a faithful and devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witness
Congregation in Greencastle since 1984 . She enjoyed the privilege of regular
pioneering ,and auxiliary pioneering until her poor health prevented her from
that activity. She then did important work for the congregation from home.
She is survived by her husband Robert D Hostetter , three children, Hans and
Colleen Hostetter Clovis NM , Jennifer Hostetter Brazil,IN , Brian Hostetter
and Leslie Parr Zionsville IN. Two Grandsons, Leviticus and Luke Hostetter.
Sister Janet (Ken) Lanie of Lafayette IN , Brothers Ron Krick (Gin Olin)of
Weldon Springs MO and Dave (Judy) Krick of Greer AZ . She was Aunt
Trish to 13 nieces and nephews .
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Public
visitation at 1 pm followed by memorial talk at 3 pm at the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah’s Witnesses, 104 N 10th Street, Greencastle, IN. Option available to

I didn’t know her well, but I was fortunate to know Jennifer. I remember meeting Trish when she came to visit Jennifer at E. Lawrence and it was like we had been friends for years. Her smile was infectious and you just couldn’t help but be happy around her. It’s no wonder that she maintained that attitude until her last breath. Trish will truly be missed but the family reunion is something we all look forward to. Until Paradise my dear sister.
