Barbara Lynn Greenawalt

Barbara Lynn Greenawalt, 83, of Crawfordsville, Indiana entered eternal life April 13, 2026. She was born on October 10, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 64 years, Duane Greenawalt; son, Michael Greenawalt (Penny); daughter, Melissa Redenbaugh (Brandon); sister, Deanice Hughes (Eldon); brother, Dale Davis (Carolyn); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews, and friends of 30 years of more.

Barbara was known for being kind-hearted and for always having a meal to offer. She was an animal lover and belonged to a dog club. She enjoyed her adventures with her grandson Nycholase, as they would go shopping and try new restaurants.

She was preceded in passing by her parents Reverend William and Gladys Davis.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Franciscan Hospice and its staff that served Barbara, specifically, Lou Ann, Trinity, Natalie, Joanne, and Chaplain Clint.

  1. i was so saddened to learn of Barbs passing. she has been my friend since 1975. we shared a lot of things over the years. some memorable and some questionable. i will miss her terribly. she is home now and having a wild time im sure. My sincere condolences to Mike and Missy and families. Until we meet again Barb, I Love You/
