Summary
Barbara Jean Morton, age 66, a longtime resident of the Richmond, Indiana area, passed away the evening of July 27th, 2024. Barbara was born September 30th, 1957, to Lee and Gertrude McQueen.
She was raised in the church with her sisters, Carrie and Brenda, and her surviving brother, Arnold. She enjoyed music, singing, cooking, spending time with friends, and raising her family.
She formerly worked in Customer Service and Special Needs Care.
Barbara was preceded in death by the love of her life, Eric Morton. She is survived by her three sons; James (Dana) Cordrey, David (Kayla Gastineau) Cordrey, Landon (Amanda) Trump, and several grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her, and memories will forever be cherished by her children and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life dinner will be held August 16th, 1pm-4pm, at the Beeson Clubhouse in Winchester, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a covered dish, or donations to funeral expenses.

My deepest sympathy to your family. Barbara was a special person to the Morton Family . We all loved her and she was a lot of fun with Eric to be around. We will miss her as we do Eric. Cherish your memories. May God bless all of you. My deepest sympathy the family.

Barbara was such a dear neighbor and treasured friend….always so willing to be helpful to me in my own physical struggles. Loved her so much…enjoyed talking with her…and my heart was touched by her great smile!! She is very missed here at Sunny Knoll Apts. in Winchester…will never forget her. My prayers uphold her family in every way….God bring the comfort needed!!
I was Barbara’s neighbor and enjoyed talking to her. Will miss her.
