Summary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Breanna Leigh Maynard of Indianapolis, IN who died at age 27 on August 6th, 2024.

She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 13th, 1997, to Lindy Olding and Kevin Maynard. Breanna graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. Her family, friends, and animals all loved her as much as she loved them. Breanna was beautiful inside and out. She never met a stranger, always the first to help others, and the world will be less bright without her.

We will all remember Breanna for so many things. For her strength & independence. For her unconditional love for her family. For her special bond she shared with her siblings, nephew, and niece. Mostly, for being a wonderful woman that we will forever love and forever miss. Life with Breanna on Earth was so short, but in Heaven it will be eternity. “Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you, until we meet again.”

She is survived by her parents, Lindy Olding (Jason Sr.) of Greenwood & Kevin Maynard (Holly) of Knightstown; siblings, Daniel Maynard, Jason Olding Jr. Melissa Olding, Connor Shane, Chris Kersage (Faith); nephew and niece, Jacoby Maynard & Amelia Kersage; Grandparents Joyce McCorkhill (Steve), Mark McCarrel, Brian Bailey, & Mary Olding; Plus, several extended family members that loved Breanna deeply.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Doris & Wayne (Bug) Maynard & John Olding Sr., & Ann Robinson.

The funeral will be a private ceremony, remembering Breanna in the presence of close family.

  1. Knowing Breanna was truly a blessing. I remember the first time I ever met Breanna, we always butted heads. Over time she became one of my best friends. She was there for me when no one else was. She truly had the biggest heart, and just wanted everyone around her to be happy even if she wasn’t. Losing Breanna will forever leave a hole in my heart. I will never forget her or the times we shared. I will always cherish days and nights with her dad’s family and mom’s family. I will always appreciate them for letting me in their home and treating me as their own. You will forever be missed breezy! I love you in this life and the next.

  5. I love you so much sis, I really can’t believe this is reality. It still doesn’t seem real. You were always the brightest person in the room. Your smile could fill a stadium! People don’t understand how close we used to be and how we did everything together… You were my best friend & was always the best big sister you could be! There hasn’t been a day that’s went by you weren’t on my mind. I wish you could’ve spent more time with Amelia, I will always remind her of how much her Aunt B Loved her. I love & miss you more than words can describe.

    1. Breanna was a very kind person that inspired happiness at a young age. My oldest daughter and her went to the same gymnastics center. We always so her so full of happiness that spilled over to those around her. The world lost a beautiful heart.

  6. Me, Amelia, & Christopher will miss you so dearly. You were the best Aunt & friend anyone could ever ask for, you lit up any room you walked into. I love you Bre ❤️ The world will never be as bright as it was with you here.

  7. I met Bre at school, she got along with everyone, she was so kind and funny and was so easy to talk to and beautiful. She will be missed

  8. O boy…I could write a book on our time together…1st it was rocky then ur beautiful self grew on me….2 red heads together def gave Daniel some grey hairs lol. Ms Miracle cries often over you. Im too happy yall spent the 4th together she REALLY loves you….you will always be like an Aunt to her….Dont stress I got your brother and will fight to keep him with us and on the right path until Im with you again!!! I love you my gorgeous red head twin and we all miss you!! Karma said she misses yalls chat and how you lit up a room with your bubbly personality. Rest up angel
