Catherine Lynn Moore

Catherine Lynn Moore, born February 18, 1962, in Bloomington, Indiana, died in Indianapolis on March 8, 2025, after a short, hard-fought battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.

Cathy’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by a devoted husband, Wayne Moore, whose love and partnership were the cornerstone of her life. They married in Eminence, Indiana on December 16th, 2001.

She leaves behind her two sons, Thomas and Jesse, whose lives she enriched with her unwavering support. And, her legacy lives on in her grandchildren—Trey, Nevaeh, Abby, and Colton—who brought endless pride and happiness to her life.

Cathy will be deeply missed by her sisters, Leah and Tiffany, and especially by her brother, Steven, with whom she enjoyed backyard family cook-outs.

Born with a stubborn streak and no fear, Cathy lived life on her own terms, embracing both its joys and challenges with tenacity. She will be fondly remembered and celebrated at a private memorial service later this spring.

Though her time on this earth has ended, Cathy’s spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. In her honor, her family encourages others to prioritize their health and cherish their loved ones. Rest in peace, Cathy – you will always be loved, missed, and remembered.
