Charles Nelson “Chuck, Chalk” Crouch rode his Harley through the gates of heaven on June 10, 2024.

He was born in Indianapolis to Shirley (Lindsey) Crouch & Charles Crouch on March 4, 1957. Chuck spent his life in the construction field. He loved spending time with his family & friends, especially with his fiancée Carolyn France & his 3 grandsons.

Chuck is survived by his mother Shirley Crouch, fiancée Carolyn France, sister Kathy Burton (Jay), children Victoria (Torry) Waltz, Amber Crouch (Robert Fowler), son Cody Crouch, grandsons Braxton & Liam Dennis, Matthias Fowler, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father Charles Crouch, his sister Sherry (Crouch) Zenor, grandparents Lena & Bremon Lindsey, grandparents Opal & Roger Crouch, several aunts, uncles & cousins.

A celebration of life was held on June 15, 2024 for family & friends gathered to honor Chuck's life.

  1. I knew the first time I saw Chalk with my sister Carolyn they were in love. They just matched. Carolyn I am so sorry for your loss. I pray for you and the family during this difficult time. Chalk fly high. You are loved by many.

  2. I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a good person. He was there to listen when someone needed an ear. And always had a good funny sparky sense of humor. The world is going to be different without him.

  3. We are so happy to have you as part of the family. You were always the kindest man and we were so happy that you made Aunt Carolyn so happy. You two were so wonderful together. You will be greatly missed.
