Christian “Chris” Dewey, 51, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 26, 2025. He was born on January 28, in Auburn, New York. He was a full-time student, actively working towards his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Logistics, while also employed as a full-time commercial driver for Walmart. Chris was very proud of his achievements with a lifetime total of 3+million safe miles during his 20+year career as a driver.

Chris was a loving father, husband, Grampu, and best friend to all he held dear. He loved golfing, smoking meats on his smoker, and talking about sports or cars to anyone who would listen, often spending his days off relaxing with his wife and children, watching football (go Giants), or being an amazing Grampu to his grandsons. No matter where he was, he was always willing to lend a helping hand in any way he could, whether over the phone while he was out on the road or doing it in person while walking you through it step by step.

He is preceded by his father, Richard Dewey, and his best friend, Michael Aten. He is survived by his wife, Heather; his daughter, Genevieve; his son, Julius; two grandsons, Anthony and Lawson; and many loved ones he held close to his heart.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. His family will hold a celebration of life at a later date in honor of Chris.
