Summary
Born to James L. Fitch Sr. and Mary L. Hawkins, he was blessed to have many siblings. He is survived by sisters Vernon Mushtaq, Henri Etta Fitch, and Arlie Fitch. He was preceded in death by his siblings James Fitch, Priscilla Combs, Mary A. Fitch, Dorothy Washington, Samuel Fitch, John Fitch, and Denith Fitch.
He was united in marriage of 24 yrs to Andrea Fitch. He was a dedicated stepfather to Victor Creel and Maurice Wilson. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Ashanti Raymond, Trenten Creel, Devon Creel, and Payten Creel.
He was employed over 12 yrs as a supervisor of a sewing factory and in later years a heavy machine operator. He was a man of integrity and worked hard to provide for his family.
He was known as a philosopher at times, a sharp dresser, and quite the man on the grill. He enjoyed photography, where he spent a lot of his free time.
Darrick was quite a character at times. Known to his many nieces and nephews as " Waldo" and to others as "Fella".
He was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He would not want our tears to be those of sorrow but ones of joy, for he is in eternal Peace.
