David Paul Wassman, 55, of Vine Grove, Kentucky, passed away suddenly, on August 24th, 2025. David was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Theodore Charles James Wassman and Alberta "Sue" Wassman, on June 2, 1970.

He graduated from North Hardin High School in Radcliff, KY. He married Aimee Danielle Dykes, on September 9th, 1989, in Vine Grove, KY., and was married 36 years. David worked as a welder and forklift driver for 25 years. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Aimee Danielle Wassman; his children Tera "Kimbrell" (Joe Mike) LaRue and their children: Samantha Kate, Julia Robin, Isaac Curtis, Casey Raylee, Isabel "Izzy" Jocelyn and Vera Love; Kwinten "Caleb" Andrew (Hannah) Wassman and their children: Coraline Jade, Peyton James "Pj", Kace Hampton, and baby Ava Michele; Matthew Aaron Kasey (Carlee) Wassman and their son Liam Kile Wade; Kyrah Jaaron Avonne (Brandon) Holdman and their children: Alexander Carl, Rhea Jean Celeste, and Emelia "Emmy" Gwennyth Klara; his mother, Alberta "Sue" Wassman; his siblings: Tammy (Dan) Vinci, Theodore "Teddy" (Tenneva) Wassman, Nicole (Kenny) Garrett, Nancy (Richard) Leturgez, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son, Anthonie Kile Wade Wassman, and his father, Theodore Charles James Wassman.

A Celebration of Life, to honor the life of David Paul Wassman, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28th, 2025, at The American Legion, Hardin Post 113, located at, 1251 Ring Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701.
