  1. So sad to hear of Duncan’s passing. He was a bright light in a world of dim flashlights. We were the same
age, I was born at the end of January his birth year – 1949. I’m now 77, truly an elder. We thought we’d
never grow old. My wife Julie and I celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary May 1, 2026.
I am an elder and elected Peacemaker of the Brothertown Indian Nation, Fond du Lac,
Wisconsin. My grandmother, Margaret Helmer, was a descendant of the Pequot tribe of the
Christian Indians of New England. Something we found out with DNA history check.
May the Lord Jesus Christ bless and keep Duncan forever in heaven until we can go see him again.
