Francis (Fritz) M. Ruffin, born on April 15, 1964, in Indianapolis, IN, to Kathleen Pich- Ruffin and Francis Ruffin. Fritz passed away on September 3, 2024, in his hometown. He attended St. Mark catholic school as a child and graduated from Indian Creek high-school. A blue-collar man, Fritz dedicated his life to hard work and to providing for his family. He spent 32 cherished years married to Dawn Ruffin, with whom he shared a loving partnership with for 38 years.
Fritz was a devoted father to his five children Lonnie Morton, Ashley Ruffin, David Ruffin, Michael Ruffin, and Sarah Ruffin. His greatest pride came from his six grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He found joy in fishing, camping, and watching football.
Known for his twisted sense of humor, Fritz had a unique ability to brighten the days of those around him. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, taking in those who needed support. Giving his children helpful advice. His impact on the lives of others will be deeply missed.
Fritz leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will endure in the hearts of his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother Gary and a few close friends
