George Gregory (“Greg”) Glasser was born in Bellaire, Ohio on September 2, 1966. A fighter from birth, he was born with a congenital spinal defect. Named after his Pap Pap, George Glasser, whom he favored with his blonde hair and blue eyes, Greg was baptized in the hospital because the doctors weren’t sure he would survive. Greg underwent surgery on his spine at Columbus Children’s Hospital before he was a year old, and he not only survived but thrived! Greg was the youngest of four siblings and lived in Shadyside, OH, Columbus, OH and Bucyrus, OH before moving to Indianapolis, IN in the early 1970’s. Greg was the youngest of four siblings but was the first to break a bone among his siblings, breaking his arm while living in Columbus, OH. Despite the spinal issues, Greg wrestled while attending MSD Perry Township Schools in Indianapolis, IN. Greg graduated from Perry Meridian High School in 1984. Good friends with the Brays, a family with three boys who lived across the street from the family’s first house in Indianapolis, Greg was roommates for years with Matt and then Chris Bray. Greg worked for One Call Communications, and then Uber and Uber Eats. Greg was very close to his mom as the “baby” of the family. He enjoyed Friday night dinners with his mom and siblings at Mexico City Grill. Greg loved rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Indianapolis Colts. Greg was predeceased by his beloved mother, Mary O’Grady Bichaukas and stepfather, Edward Bichaukas, who welcomed him Home on October 2, 2025, a month after he turned 59 years old. Our last celebration together was Greg’s birthday dinner at Fujiyama Steakhouse of Japan, which was the family’s favorite spot to celebrate birthdays. Greg is survived by his father, Phillip (Donna) Glasser, Sr., sister Karen (Rick Laker) Glasser Sharp, brothers Phillip (Julie) Glasser and Michael Glasser, nephews R. Elliott (Shelby Thompson) Deane, Phillip (Victoria) Glasser and Nicholas Sharp, his nieces Hannah (Calvin) Johnson and Mary Stunda, one great nephew and seven great nieces. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Greenwood American Legion Post 252, 334 U.S. 31 South, Greenwood, IN 46142 in the upstairs banquet hall.

I am so saddened to hear of Greg’s passing. I send my deepest condolences to the Glasser family. I was good friends with Mike and Greg. I was Greg’s ride to C9 my senior year. We had so much fun in that old car going to and from C9. I scared him to death. My car had a master cylinder leak to my brakes and I had to push button transmission to my old Rambler and would throw it in reverse and hit the accelerator and we would miss the car in front. His heart pitter pattered in the back seat. Oh my gosh the laughs I had with Greg.
I’m so sorry to hear the news.
Sending my love and prayers to the family along with huge hugs. I always just loved the Glasser family. You all were so kind and so many laughs as I grew up.
Sincerely,
Chris Daprile
Our condolences to the Glasser family at the loss of their brother, son, uncle and friend. May the many happy memories and gatherings spent together keep him warm in your hearts.
