Gerhard Klobedanz

Gerhard Klobedanz

Gerhard Klobedanz, 71, passed away on February 18, 2026, leaving behind a family who adored him and a legacy of love that will live on for generations.

Gerhard was born on January 11, 1955, in Hanau, Germany. He carried his German roots with pride throughout his life, and many who met him were instantly drawn to his warm personality — and his unmistakable accent, which made conversations with him all the more memorable.

He was known for his ornery, fun-loving spirit and silly sense of humor. Gerhard had a way of teasing and joking that made people laugh and feel at ease. Beneath that playful personality was a man of deep kindness and extraordinary selflessness. He was always thinking of others before himself, always ready to lend a hand, offer advice, or simply sit and talk.

Gerhard loved soccer and could often be found enjoying a game, but nothing brought him more happiness than time spent with his children and grandchildren. His pride in his family was evident in every story he told and every moment he shared with them.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Tina Klobedanz; his daughter, Casey Mogle, and son-in-law, Zachary Mogle; his sons, Michael Weatherly, Kyle Weatherly, and Brandon Weatherly; and his stepdaughter, Tonya Marshall (Jeff).

He was a proud grandfather to Aubrey Mogle, Layne Mogle, Aryah Mogle, Bailey Weatherly, Autumn Weatherly, Hazel Weatherly, Alsous Gilotte, Alessia Lubis, and Amaris Cambell. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Ivy, Ruah, Kefa, and Elsie.

Gerhard was preceded in death by his mother, Irmgard Klobedanz; his sister Anita Klobedanz; his mother-in-law, Patricia Allen; his father-in-law, Thomas Brown; and his nephew, Joshua Allen.

He also leaves behind his special friend, Don Young, affectionately known as “Big Don,” whose friendship meant so much to him.

Gerhard’s life was marked by laughter, loyalty, and love. His steady presence, generous heart, and playful spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His family finds comfort knowing that his lessons, his humor, and his love will continue to live on in each of them.

From all of us who love you — thank you for the laughter, the strength, and the endless love you gave so freely. We will carry you with us always. Until we meet again, enjoy your “seasons in the sun.”
