Summary
Gina Desiré Skidmore was a loving and thoughtful mother, sister, and friend. She left this world unexpectedly on October 2, 2023 at age 44.
She was born September 27, 1979 in Dayton, OH to the late Gerald Hughes and Lora Maloof. Gina was a graduate of Warren Central High School and went on to complete some college in hopes of becoming a nurse. Gina was always looking for the next adventure and next step in life. She was proud of herself, as was all her family around her, when she obtained a position with USPS. She also loved going to Kings Island and haunted houses for extra fun during time off work. Gina loved dolphins (she’d tell you she was a Miami Dolphins fan), butterflies and angels, like her mom.
Gina is survived by her two children, Morgan S. Rogusta and Malcolm A. Estes IV; brothers, Michael R. Maloof and Seth G. Maloof; and sister, Maya Maloof. Gina was preceded in death by her mother, Lora G. Maloof, father, Gerald Hughes and whom she considered as another father, Ferris B. Maloof.
There will be no formal visitation for Gina, instead her family will host a private celebration of life to honor her.
