Hannah Lynn Sims (Maxwell)

Hannah Lynn Sims (Maxwell), 23, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on August 4, 2026.
A lifelong native of Indianapolis and a proud graduate of Perry Meridian High School,
Hannah was a force of nature—driven, passionate, and full of life. Her strong work ethic
and natural leadership led her to achieve an incredible milestone, becoming the youngest
General Manager in the long history of MCL Cafeteria in Indiana at the age of 22. She
poured her heart into her work and earned the deep respect and admiration of all who
worked alongside her.

Beyond her professional achievements, Hannah had a deep love for the beauty in the
world. She found peace and joy in nature, whether she was tending to her garden,
surrounding herself with bright flowers, cooking with her husband, or filling her home with
music.

She was a devoted, wonderful, and fiercely loving mother to her 5-year-old daughter,
Sariah, who was the light of her life.

On July 13, 2026, Hannah married Scott Sims, after a beautiful year together. Though their
time as husband and wife was far too short, the love, devotion, and joy they shared was
deep, profound, and timeless.

Hannah is survived by her loving husband, Scott Sims and his children; her cherished
daughter, Sariah; her mother, Shannon Maxwell; her father, Matthew Maxwell; her sister,
Sarah Maxwell; and her brothers, Andrew and Anthony Maxwell.

Her warmth, determination, and vibrant spirit will live on forever in the hearts of her family,
friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Hannah’s life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared by her
husband and family once finalized.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help support Hannah’s daughter, Sariah, can be sent directly
via Zelle to btbindy@gmail.com.
