James Bush, of Greenwood IN, passed away on March 12, 2026 after an extended illness. James loved his family and had compassion for animals. He was born September 26, 1972 in Greenwood IN. He graduated from Southport HS and attended Ball State University. He worked in several different IT positions over the years, several in Sunnyvale CA; he was particularly gifted in web design. Before his illness prevented such activities, he enjoyed hobbies including weightlifting, hiking, photography and visiting art galleries. He had a passion for Jesus and was baptized as a child at Shelbyville road church of Christ. For a few years, he hosted a Christian podcast. James was known for his quick wit and dry humor. He was predeceased in death by his grandparents, James and Opal Schmedel and Haskel and Betty Bush, and his aunt Leann Carr. He is survived by his parents, Jack Bush (Tanya) and Kathy Feldmeier (Ray), and brother Jarrod Bush (Jess) and nephews Tyler and Rylan Bush, his uncle Alan Bush (Melissa), his aunts, Kandis Malefyt (Tom) and Kim Lemon (Bob) and several cousins. There are no memorial arrangements at this time.
