  1. Holly and Sabrina God Bless You! You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I pray for your peace! I am here for you ❤️

  2. Dear Holly, Sabrina & family, Pete was a LEGEND in the punk rock scene & a true sweety. I was so thrilled to see you guys a few years ago. Please accept my sincere condolences.

  3. To his Family, I am so sorry for your loss. He was always a friend to me, along with his wife , back in the 80s punk rock scene. Eventually we lost touch , but I’ll always be grateful for his friendship.🙏

  4. I’m also sorry to hear Pete has passed on. Such a sweet and kind person! Memories of great conversations and hugs whenever we ran into each other. Funniest memory is way back in 1985 Pete and Rick Silcox rolling my old upright piano down College Avenue when I moved down the block. My condolences to dear Holly, their beloved daughter, and the rest of his family and friends. I will smile through my tears when I think of you, Mohawk Pete.

  5. It is super sad that I will not run into Pete again at some unsuspected venue somewhere. I called him “Mohawk Pete”, but “Punk Rock Pete” works too. The last time I saw him was in Cincinnati. I send my heart felt condolences to friends and family.

  6. Pete was always at Zero Boys shows and Punk Rock concerts locally. He was always friendly to me and made sure to say hello. I am sorry for his family. Rest in Peace Pete!

  7. My condolences- I ran into Pete at a few concerts over the years and he still remembered me even though he hadn’t seen me since our days of running around in Broadripple. He always was smiling and laid back plus a kind soul.

  8. Pete, was always a laid-back guy. spent many hours just talking and hanging out with Pete at the Patio and Outback. RIP Pete.

  9. We never can say anything that will make your pain of losing James. We all called him Pete. And way of the the punk rock scene we called him punk rock Pete. You know tge dude with the large Mohawk. Again he meant a lot to a lot of ppl. Pete was a good man and never had a mean streak. Always had something good to say. I meet pete when I was 12 he was 23 I believe. He was the face of punk rock in Indy especially broadripple. He hadn’t wore a Mohawk for awhile. Its going to be hard for his family but especially ppl like me. Thank you Pete for the wonderful years you gave all of us asking for nothing in return.

  10. Pete was one of my closest friends that I had in Indy. Pete, Holly and I spent many happy times together at concerts, playing pool and hanging out for hours at the coffee shop. My sincere condolences to Holly, Sabrina and the entire Solhan family. – (That) Todd

  11. I didn’t even know until today. I hadn’t talked to Pete in 20 years but he and the rest of the kids were a huge part of my childhood.

Pete’s just going on the next “hunt” and we’ll all just have to catch up.
