Jerry R. Jarvis, 73, of Indianapolis, peacefully went home on October 29th, 2026, following his 13 year battle with leukemia.
Jerry was born on March 9th, 1953 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Russell and Macie Jarvis.
Jerry was a 1971 graduate of Tompkinsville High School in Tompkinsville, KY. He later retired from Franscian Health’s Environmental Services.
He is survived by his wife Vicki L. Jarvis; two daughters, Shauna and Christina; 9 grandchildren, Aaron, Michael, Cheyanne, Lakota, Jesse, Torianna, Braylen, Bella, and Mia; 5 siblings, Keith, Garry, Terry, Kenny, and Tammy.
Jerry enjoyed cook-outs with his family, visiting his siblings in Kentucky, attending car shows with his late brother-in-law Rick, and sitting on the front porch sipping on beer. He was an avid fan of red jelly beans, Krispy Kreme donuts, and Little Debbie snack cakes. Jerry enjoyed watching old westerns, Leave it to Beaver, and “A Christmas Story” on Christmas Day.
A private memorial will be held in Tompkinsville, KY at a later date for Jerry’s family.
