Jesse James Croney, Jr., 58, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away and entered his heavenly home on March 20, 2025, after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family.

Jesse was born on December 28, 1966, to the late Jesse James Croney, Sr. and Mary E. Croney, Sr. 

Family describes him as “A jack of all trades, and master of none.”   His passing leaves a huge void in the lives of those remaining, and he will be sorely missed.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse James Croney, Sr and Mary E. Croney; and his brother, Glenn F. Croney.   

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Croney Wallace; sister, Kim Croney.  Also surviving are five children, Timothy Croney, Dawana Woods, Dylana Meals, Jillavontia Edwardds, and Glenn G. Croney; 25-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.   

A short private ID viewing for immediate family will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025.  Arrangements entrusted to Simple Cremation Indianapolis, 6904 South East Street, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
