Summary

Joe E. Gary passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, December 30,2024. Joe Gary, a resident of Brownsburg, Indiana, was blessed with 69 years of age. On September 26, 1955 he was born in Elkhart, IN. He was the son of Eleanora Lee and Joe E. Gary Sr. As well as Lorenza Lee. In 1975, Joe and Lucy were united in holy matrimony.
He served in the U.S. Army in the 7th Infantry Division in Fort Ord California, as well as the National Guard. He worked at the Elkhart Community School Transportation Department for 10 years, and retired from Elkhart City Water Works. Among his pleasures were fishing, spending time, and joking with his family.
Joe has left behind a loving family of three daughters, Leticia Gary of Indianapolis, Indiana, Melita (Myron) Donaldson of Elkhart, Indiana, and Sharmel (Rodney) Mabon of Brownsburg, Indiana; adopted daughter, Chantelle Gary of Indianapolis, IN; bonus son, Charles Breveard of Elkhart, IN; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
His siblings, Gregory (Dennise) Gary, Janice Lee, Nora (Claude) Grant, and Haster McBride;
along with other dear relatives and friends.

  4. Sending our deepest condolences to the family . I remember Joe when he would come in my father’s store ( Henry Otterbridge). He always had a joke to tell to my dad and they would just laugh and laugh 😆 and Joe was a very nice person . God bless the family 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
