Judith Ann (DeNeve) Wagner, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 6, 2024, after a long battle with dementia.
Judy was born November 13, 1943, in Lansing, MI, to Frank and Margaret (Matthys) DeNeve. She is a graduate of St. Joseph High School, South Bend and on April 18, 1964, she married John (Jack) Wagner. She resided in Mishawaka, moving to Indianapolis in 1991.
Judy is survived by her husband, Jack; daughters, Michelle Kavanaugh and Barb (Scott) Whitlock; and grandchildren, Kameron Kavanaugh, Rowan Kavanaugh, Britton Whitlock, Kierston Whitlock, and Gehrig Whitlock. Judy’s beloved siblings Patricia Searcy, Janice Temmerman, Ron DeNeve, Diane Moroni, Bill DeNeve, Jim DeNeve, and Debbie Lipps. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bob DeNeve.
Judy had a passion for arts and crafts, music, travel, reading and her grandchildren. After retirement she devoted her time to spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren.
Judy graciously donated her body to the Indiana University School of Medicine. Per her wishes, there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the Michiana area.
