Judy Merle Shidler, age 67, passed away on March 12, 2025. Judy was born in LaPorte, Indiana on Aug. 18, 1957 to the late Robert Lee Mattocks and Helen Jeanette Cable.
Judy loved being surrounded by her sons, her grandkids, and her family. She enjoyed cooking for everyone at large family gatherings and get-togethers.
Judy was a painter and professional wallpaper installer for many years. She loved transforming a space and making it look new again. One of her wallpaper installations was featured/published in an issue of a Home and Gardens magazine.
Judy is survived by her two sons Jeramy Shidler of Plainfield, IN. and Benjie(Bridget} Shidler of San Diego, CA. Her grandchildren Cody and Makenzie Shidler of San Diego, CA. Her two sisters Helen(late Anderson) Page, and Barbara(Mark) Kring, both of Dover, TN. as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her siblings Carol Ann Mattocks, Diana Lynn Mattocks, Shari Jean Thompson, and Robert Lee Mattocks.
Judy will be greatly missed by all that knew her and loved her!
