Karen Jane Tribbett, 64, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2026. Born on August 28, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of Donald and Eileen McCormack. Karen graduated from Leo High School and pursued her passion for helping others by earning a nursing degree from St. Francis while raising her three daughters.
Karen dedicated her career to nursing, embodying compassion and care both professionally and personally. She had a gift for connecting with people, always taking the time to learn their stories. Whether it was a gas station employee, a barista at Starbucks or the person at her favorite Arby’s. Her warmth and genuine interest in others left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Karen had an infectious laugh that could brighten a cloudy day.
Karen cherished time spent with her family and friends, especially when it involved sunny days by the water. If Karen was there, music was involved; Teaching her girls how to sing in a round in the car, going to musicals and karaoke nights will never be forgotten! Her love for life and those around her created a community of friends who became truly family.
Karen leaves behind her husband of 34 years, Todd Tribbett; her daughters, Ashley Pitzen (William Walker), Emilee (Alex) Goga, and Mary Pitzen (Paula Ramirez); and her beloved grandsons, Gabriel and Andrew Goga. Chosen families; the Wilkins, McClurgs, and the Dwyers.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Eileen McCormack; her brother, David McCormack, several aunts and uncles; and her infant daughter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Cremation Indianapolis. Condolences may be shared at Karen Jane Tribbett – Simple Cremation Indianapolis
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at a later date.

I am so sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry for your loss. I was very shocked. When you three girls were young, Karen and I were inseparable. My heart goes out to you, girls and Todd. You’re in my thoughts and prayers. Ava Walker
