Summary

Kerby Ray Muncy, 62, of Danville, IN passed away on July 25, 2024. Born May 29, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN, he was a cherished member of the Muncy family and a beloved friend of many.

Kerby worked alongside his dad when he was young and grew up to own and run his own successful paving business. He was an honest and hardworking man. Though his work kept him busy, he was always there to answer the phone and help anyone who needed him. In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool, boating, jet skiing, and admiring his restored Mustang. Kerby found joy in the simple things of life. He loved God, family, friends and coffee. Kerby was a special person with a kind heart and beautiful blue eyes.

Kerby is survived by his daughter Baylee Power (Muncy), son-in-law Rick Power, and three beautiful grandchildren; sisters Karen Muncy and Kendra Vondersaar (Muncy); and brothers Keith, Kelly, and Kerry Muncy. He also leaves behind many close friends who he considered family. He was preceded in death by his father Ed Muncy; his mother Lois Burger (Parsons, Muncy); stepfather Donald Burger; son Tony Muncy; and brother Kent Muncy.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at Firefly Pavilion in W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park in Danville, IN on August 24, 2024 from 3pm to 8pm.
