Kristina Jean Lamb Miniear, age 72 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Kristina was born in George Washington University Hospital in the District of Columbia on July 30, 1951, to Artemus and Janice Lamb and was the youngest of 3 sisters (Tori and Stephanie).
She grew up in Brentwood, CA attending local Catholic schools (K – 3 years of college) becoming best grade school friends with “Little Lucy” Arnez and Lisa Bloomingdale. Through the Bloomingdale’s young Kristina would also become personal friends with Ronald and Nancy Reagan. She always cherished the great love and warmth extended to her by the future White House inhabitants.
Living in Hollywood’s backyard and not having her dad at home a substitute was needed for the Father-Daughter School Dance. God’s amazing grace would provide her with a pretty good dancing escort in Dick Van Dyke.
In her late twenties Kristina began answering the call to serve in Christian ministry starting with 4 people in San Diego. After a 747 jet plane crashed 2 blocks away her Friday prayer meetings grew to 86 people.
Working for Bank of America in Pasadena she held Bible lunch teachings for 2 years and 39 people were saved. Kristina would then be appointed the Vice President of the Women’s Aglow Chapter in Glendale and would later start a half-way house for battered women in Northern California.
Her ministry outreach then began expanding to other states including Hawaii and New York where she lead young women to Jesus Christ and helped them get out of sex trafficking. While in the Pacific Islands she also helped plant churches.
Before coming to Indianapolis in 2010 she ministered in over 100 black churches in FL, AL and MS. Working with her future husband JD in Beech Grove Pastor Kristina began holding revival meetings at Body of Christ Fellowship Church 7 days a week for over a year bringing a fresh new message each night lead by the Holy Spirit.
Prior to Covid-19 lockdowns she regularly did women’s prison ministry on Indy’s West Side ministering to the most severely sentenced ladies. When asked to preach to a group of 700 women inmates over 20 came forward to receive baptism.
In 2019 Kristina flew to Ukraine with Indiana Right to Life and ministered to pregnant women and families. Most recently Kristina was an ordained pastor ministering at Restoring Hope Community Church on Indy’s West Side.
Kristina is survived by her husband JD, sister Stephanie, three daughters, Andrea (Jorge) Gonzalez, Victoria (Brian) Hannas, Lydia Welch (Dillon) Kerley, four grandchildren, Jacob (Avery) Gonzalez, Hildegard Hannas and Elijah Kerley.
She was preceded in death by her sister Tori and her parents.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 15 starting 3 pm with the Service following 4 pm at Restoring Hope Community Church, 4650 W 62nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268.

.
I met JD & Kristina years ago, when JD became my mortgage loan officer. After being involved with conservative grass roots politics I had the pleasure to meet Kristina who supported her husbands patriotic aspirations for the United States House Of Representative.
We all had many similar interests in conservative politics, military, Christian attitudes/activities and a strong cultural experience.
I found a strong friendship with JD & Kristina developed as we all socialized.
Kristina is now in a loving peace with the Lord.
Amen.
Kristina lead a very full and giving life filled with generosity and love for those less fortunate. She will be greatly missed.
