With love and deep sorrow, we share the passing of Maria Luisa Osuna, who left this world peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the age of 81.
Born in Puerto Rico on February 19, 1944, Maria Luisa lived a life defined by quiet strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a source of comfort, wisdom, and joy to all who knew her — a woman who gave freely of her heart and lived with grace and resilience.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no immediate service. Maria Luisa did not want her loved ones to gather in mourning, but instead asked that they take time to reflect, heal, and come together in celebration. A joyful remembrance of her life will be held in 2026, honoring her legacy in the spirit she lived — with warmth, laughter, and love.
Her cremated remains will be laid to rest in Puerto Rico, reunited with her beloved mother in the land where her journey began.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, and in the countless lives she touched with her kindness and strength. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Dear Mama,
My heart is still deeply heavy as I write this message. I still struggle to find the right words because losing you feels like losing a mother all over again. You were more than just Mama to me, you were love, warmth, guidance, and comfort wrapped in one beautiful soul.
Thank you for the way you cared for me, we prayed to together encouraged me, and made me feel at home in your house. Your kindness, your wisdom, and your gentle strength will never be forgotten. You touched my life in ways words cannot fully express.
Though it hurts that you are no longer here with us physically, I hold on to the memories, yes so many of it. the laughter, and the lessons you left behind. I pray that God grants you eternal rest and gives all of us the strength to bear this painful loss.
Mama, you may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from my heart. Rest peacefully in the bosom of the Lord.
