Nancy L. Bronson

Nancy L. Bronson

Nancy L. Bronson, affectionately known as Nana, passed away on Saturday, March 7th, 2026.  Nancy was born on July 20th, 1949.  She was adopted by Vincent and Esther Whorlow as an infant, who preceded her in death.  She was born with the last name of Garland and would tell everyone that she was the daughter of Judy Garland.

Nancy graduated from Warren Central High School in 1967.  She was a member of The Trebletones.  She was a homemaker and was a wonderful mom to her 3 children.  She also cherished her grandchildren.

Nancy was known for her funny personality.  She was also known to cut the grass with scissors because it needed to be done and she did not want to bother anyone.

She also had a great love for cable tv and her remote.  She enjoyed watching The Golden Girls, Reba, and The Hallmark Channel.  She really enjoyed her snacks such as Jello, Tapioca pudding, Little Debbie’s, and at the end…popsicles…. lots of popsicles.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bronson.  She is survived by her children Jaime, Charles, Larry(Christina) and her grandchildren Mykal, Malia(Axel), Makanani, Brea, and Cody.

She is also survived by the family cats Grogu, Mando, and Moose whom she called Moses.

She loved her family unconditionally and always listened to anything that her family needed to talk about.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date,

  1. I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. This is never an easy thing. I was a classmate of Nancy’s at Warren Central. I got to know her very well because we dated for most of our senior year. I will remember her as a cute, funny, personable little girl with a giving disposition. I don’t think I ever knew that she had been adopted. I can’t really say that I remember her parents, although, obviously, I would have met them a few times during the months in 1966 and 1967 when Nancy and I were pretty steady. Please accept my sincere condolences and please think about inviting me to her memorial service. God bless all of you.
