Paul Richard Fraley, age 83, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully in his home on February 27th, 2025.

He was born on September 20th, 1941, in Madison County, Ohio.

Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. At the center of Paul’s life was his wife, Ellen, children, Jon (Dee) Fraley, Rachel Hamby, Ginna (B.J.) Purdum, Paula (Doug) Arnold, Bill (Paul) Hawkins, Rachel (Russ) Volk and his grandchildren, Sarah Beth (Jerome) Edwards, Matthew (Nicki) Fraley, Nathan (Olivia) Fooce, Bradley Purdum, Brandon (Casey) Purdum, Lacy Purdum, Stephen (Felicia) Buchanan, Carissa (Eric) Hoffman, Christopher Hawkins, Gabriella Flores, Nikolas Flores and great grandchildren, Alexis, Henley, Rhett, Preston, Wesley, Elizabeth, Cleo, Kaydence, Sally, and Brooks.

Paul passionately loved learning all throughout his life and sharing his wisdom. Countless family and friends will miss him as he was a source of peace and found great joy in being a healthy support to everyone. His unique way of touching the lives of those he met was undeniably his greatest gift. He loved being a source of positive energy for all who knew him. Paul was a successful entrepreneur and retired from DSI Properties.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Farris and Anna (Boggs) Fraley; siblings, Clifton (Eva) Fraley, Mozzel (Walter) Sparks, Janie (Willis) Hayes, Louise (Morse) Young, Augusta May, Harold “Gene” (Retta) Fraley, Charlie (Brenda) Fraley, and Jonas Fraley.

Paul will be remembered sitting in his garden enjoying the company of his loved ones while discussing the beautiful wonders of life.
