Ramiro Prieto Jr.

Summary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ramiro Prieto Jr., age 36. Born on October 29, 1987, in Del Rio, TX, Ramiro lived his childhood and adult life in Fort Worth, TX—where he always considered home. He later moved to Indianapolis in search of peace, purpose, and healing, and during his time there, he left a lasting impression with his love and compassion on all who knew him. Ramiro’s family always meant the world to him, and his greatest memories were the times he spent with them. The lucky few who truly knew him will remember him as a protector to some, and a joker to others, but above all he will be remembered for the love he shared through his service and compassion.
Ramiro loved his children: daughter Serenity Oralia Prieto Villarreal, son Christian Nathaniel Prieto Villarreal, and stepson Brian Christopher Rodriguez Villarreal. He is also survived by his loving sister Miroslavia “Lavy” Jara (Raymon), his brother Daniel Prieto (April), as well as his many loving nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his father Ramiro Prieto Sr., his mother Oralia Leon, and his sister Monica Melissa Zapata.
The love, kindness, and support from all of Ramiro’s loved ones, especially the family who chose him throughout his lifetime, has been overwhelming and could never be repaid. You all are truly his angels and have provided more comfort than you’ll ever know.
The family would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to the many resources, organizations, and ministries that made such a difference in Ramiro’s life. We know that you not only shined a light on his life but helped him shine on others.
