Rhonda Lynn Ruffing, 65, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, at 10:36 a.m.
Born on June 15, 1959, in Indianapolis to Alice and Floyd Halterman, Rhonda dedicated her life to her family. She married Terrance Allen Ruffing, and together they raised two sons, Michael and Cody.
Rhonda was deeply passionate about enriching the lives of those she loved. She had a special place in her heart for children, ensuring each one knew they were cherished. Her nurturing spirit led many to affectionately call her “Momma,” expanding her family through bonds of love over the years.
She is survived by her sons, Michael and Cody; grandchildren, Jaiden, Breanna, Devin, and Anthony; brother Randy, and her sisters; and the many others who became family through her unwavering kindness.
A Celebration of Life is being planned to honor Rhonda’s memory, allowing all who loved her to gather and remember her warmth and generosity.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Rhonda’s legacy by reaching out to others with love, kindness, and humanity.
