Richard Charles Thomas, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on November 29, 2025. He was born on July 28, 1940, in Ohio to the late Leslie Thomas and Nellie (Burns) Thomas.
In 1965, he married his wife Tina (Keller) Thomas, and together they spent 60 years raising their family and living in Germany, Ohio, Indiana, Florida and Michigan.
Richard is remembered for his kind-hearted love of animals, nature and all things Ohio State. He served in the US Army and then had a career as a Warehouse Manager at Miller Pipeline Corporation in Indianapolis.
Richard is survived by: his wife, Earnestine Keller Thomas, his four children, Teresa (Larry) Bond of Amanda Ohio, Michelle Christopher of Amanda Ohio, Lori (Jeff) Shaffer of Greenwood, Indiana, Mike (Sue) Thomas of Macomb, Michigan, eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, sister, two brothers and a son in law. A celebration of life will be held in the spring in his beloved Hocking County, Ohio.
