Robert Eugene Thompson (Robbie) , age 62, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on March 15, 2025.
Robbie had a passion for collecting and selling antiques, vintage items, and jewelry. He often shared this love with others through his flea market booth, where he enjoyed meeting people and uncovering hidden treasures. He also had a deep love for music and singing—his children remember him always having a karaoke machine and him singing along to Ricky Van Shelton and Elvis Presley.
Known for his kindness and generosity , Robbie touched the lives of many with his warmth and knowledge.
He is survived by his mother Linda, godfather John, siblings— Lori, Theresa, Penny, Priscilla, Donna, Randy, and Ronnie, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, his children— Bobby, Josh, Dakota, and Jarred—and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Eric; his sister, Rebecca; and his father, Bobby Gene.
Robbie will be remembered for his love of history, his voice that carried through every song he sang, and the kindness he extended to those around him.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, a directed cremation will take place.
