Robert Leon Krietemeyer

Robert Leon (Bert) Krietemeyer passed away on February 8, 2026. He was diagnosed with colon cancer a short 3 days prior to passing. Born in Evansville Indiana to Roy and Marion Krietemeyer.

 He was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Marion Lundy, brothers James, Allen, and Rodger (Charley). Ex-wife Brenda Krietemeyer and son Bobby Krietemeyer.

 Survived by sister Carolyn Roll, brothers Richard and Mark Krietemeyer. His daughters Lori Ann Pofhal, and Candace Krietemeyer. Grandchildren Brian Morris, Christopher Fenwick JR, Dylan Fenwick, Reanee Crowe, and Cheyenne Rafferty. As well as 7 great grandchildren Liam, Rylen, Lucas, Millie, Zoey, Journey and Freya.  

 Robert became a skilled carpenter working construction many years.  Custom woodwork was his specialty.  He was a quiet man of few words but, when he did speak we all listened.  He loved his family dearly and talked about the importance of showing up for family. Stubborn as a bull and had a big heart.  He would make pancakes every Sunday faithfully. Some of us still can’t eat pancakes. You will be missed dearly. Gone but never forgotten. Rest in Peace Daddy.

 We will be having a celebration of life ceremony on his birthday May 13. Anyone who knew him is welcome to come. Place and time will be posted at a later date.
