The son of Charles Earl Norman Sr and Dorothy Frances (Cross) Norman.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Charles Earl Norman Jr. (Spike), Jerry Ryan and Perry Bryan Norman, Tony Bee and Troy Lee Norman, and his sister Angela Ellen Norman.

He is survived by his brothers Randy, Jim (Kris), Donald (Susan), and their families.

Robert was a member of the United States Army and retired from the National Guard. He was a long time member of the American Legion Post 281. Robert retired from Crown.

Robert was an outgoing person. He enjoyed people. He loved family cookouts, spending time at the legion, hanging with his friends and going to his class reunions every year.

Robert was a great brother, uncle, and friend. He is loved and missed.

A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 281, 501 S Main St. Cloverdale, In 46120.
