Rodney Eugene Hall, 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 6th, 2025.
He was born on November 30th, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Harold and Patricia (Wright) Hall. He would continue to be a lifelong resident of the city.
Rodney graduated from Southport Highschool, enlisted in the U.S. Army and would go onto work most his life at Ford as a mechanic. Throughout his time working for the company, he would earn numerous awards for his electrical work on the cars that came into his shop. He earned his Home Inspection certificate through the state of Indiana. His love of cars didn’t stop with his job, as he was an avid car fan as well. His favorite car was the ’67 Chevrolet Bel-Air. He would regularly tune in to NASCAR races, cheering on his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt.
In his free time Rodney was ever the outdoorsman, spending time both working on the yard and woodworking. He would be sure to plant flowers every April 1st, as soon as it could get warm. He always made sure to follow that season’s color scheme, set out for him by his wife. Rodney also found joy in his woodworking, making things for his family. Outside of outdoor work, Rodney would be taking numerous trips to the casino, where betting max was the only possible option. A guitar player with a wide music taste, he enjoyed everything from Bluegrass to old country, and even the occasional Eminem and Kid Rock, singing karaoke in the garage. He loved to go dancing with his wife Michelle. He also traveled often with Michelle somewhat unwillingly when it came to international travel, but always enjoyed the adventure once he arrived.
Rodney is survived by his wife of 20 years Michelle Hall, his 2 sisters, 3 daughters, a son, and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harold Hall and Patricia (Wright) Hall, a brother, sister, and a son.
Arrangements entrusted to Simple Cremation Indianapolis, 6904 S. East Street, Suite E, Indianapolis, IN., (317)361-4516.

To all of the family
I’ve known Rodney since our Jr. High years.
We lived across the street from each other and attended the same church in our early years.
May the Lord comfort and be with your entire family!
In his Loving care
Sorry this happened to soon for my big brother. I sure wished he would have been living closer to my location
Rodney . Rodney and I were 11 months apart in age and he always walked with me to and from school protecting me from the elements . I will miss you Rodney and I am so glad he had his wife Michelle to direct and help him during his tribulant times.
