Sandra Kay (Barr) Riggs, 79, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away at her residence on Monday, April 1, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Sandra was born October 11, 1944, in Anderson to the late Walter J. Barr and Doris H. Paschal Kinnaman.

Sandra is survived by her son, Steve W (Melissa) Cockman; daughter-in-law, Sherry (Walker) Cockman; grandchildren, Brandon Vajner, Brittany Woolard, Logan Cockman, Sterling Cockman and Falon (Brandon) Medley; sister, Elizabeth Wagner of Anderson and brother, Jay Barr of Daleville; great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also, her special group of friends from Greenbriar.

Sandra was preceded in death by her son, William M. Cockman

Sandra attended Highland High School in Anderson. She worked for General Motors and worked several years as an emergency dispatcher.

Sandra enjoyed her time with family and friends, she also had a green thumb with a room full of beautiful plants of all kinds.

A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date.
