Summary

Suzan “Sue” I. Hahn, 83, of Mooresville, Indiana, passed away peacefully, on August 30th, 2025. She was born on May 2nd, 1942, and lived a life filled with love, devotion, and family.

Sue worked for NAPA Balkamp, for 37 years before retiring; dedicating much of her career to her work and colleagues. Sue was a lifetime member of both the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary and the American Legion Post #103, in Mooresville. She took considerable pride in supporting the men and women who served our country and was passionate about giving back to the veteran community.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Chris) Cook and Kim (Randy) Shetterly; her son, James “Jimmy” Parsons; her brother, Bill Spencer; and her sister-in-law, Jackie Walker. She was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren: Joshua (Noelle) Cook, Jacob Cook, Jessica (Carl) McCracken, and Kassie (Amanda) Ferguson. Her heart was full of love for her great-grandchildren: Bryson Cook, Jaycee McCracken, Kadence McCracken, Killian Cook, Fitzroy Ferguson, Remy Farmer, Darrian Farmer, Jamison Kennedy, and Liam Ellett.
Sue was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Taylor Sue Parsons.

She spent her winters in Fort Myers, Florida, where she enjoyed precious time with family and created lasting memories in the Florida sunshine. She will be remembered for her kind heart, strong spirit, and deep love of family and country. Her dedication to supporting veterans and her unwavering devotion to those she loved will continue to inspire everyone who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the VFW of Mooresville, Post 1111, located at 411 S. Indiana St., Mooresville, Indiana. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the VFW for graciously providing the venue, food, and support during this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Indiana Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center in Sue’s memory.
