Virginia Susan "Susie" Brooks Hardesty Tisdale
Susie grew up in Paducah, Kentucky, and Indianapolis before graduating from the University of Indianapolis. She went on to build a meaningful career with Mason & Sloan in Santa Monica, California, and later served the state of Indiana with dedication.
A gifted wordsmith, Susie had a passion for writing and found joy in spending time with her family. She was known for her compassionate spirit and her unwavering support for the underdog in any situation.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Jill (Allen) Norris; her grandchildren Anastasia (LaTrice) Adams-Mocco and William Mocco; and two cherished great-granddaughters. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia Brooks.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted by Simple Cremation Indianapolis, 6904 S. East Street, Suite E, Indianapolis, IN 46224.

Anyone that knew Susie,knew how much she loved her family. She was so generous, kind and loving that she sparkled. Any underdog had a friend in Susie. Susie and I share the same grandchildren and I have always been proud to call her my friend
